How does it work and what are your advantages?
1. You order a PDF or MP3 download via the Bernaerts Music Online Webshop.
2. You will receive an e-mail from us with the order confirmation and a PDF of the final invoice (depending on the payment method chosen).
3. The delivery is digitally only via our digital PDF & MP3 download system (depending on the payment method chosen).
4. The files ordered will be available immediately in your Bernaerts Music account (depending on the payment method chosen).
5. All you have to do is download and/or print them. We advise to do this on a computer and not on a mobile device.
The digital PDF & MP3 download system is exclusively reserved to the Bernaerts Music Online Webshop.
Terms and conditions of the digital PDF & MP3 download system
By downloading a PDF or MP3 you agree to the terms and conditions of our digital PDF & MP3 download system.
They are listed here:
1. A downloaded PDF or MP3 is licenced only to the person or the musical society mentioned on the accompanying invoice. It is strictly forbidden to send a PDF or MP3 file to third parties, to other musical societies or to other conductors. The accompanying invoice proves that the music publication or MP3 was legally purchased by you or by the musical society.
2. The licence number is printed on every page of the music publication and may not be removed. Downloaded music without licence number are considered illegal and violate the copyright law.
3. Because of the file size, every part has been added once to the PDF file. It goes without saying that you have the right to print these parts in as many copies as indicated in the instrumentation page which you can find in the PDF file. We advise to do this on a computer and not on a mobile device.
4. A PDF or MP3 that has been purchased via download is saved in your Bernaerts Music account and can be downloaded maximum 2 (two) times. The download link is valid for 60 days only.
5. Once delivered, invoiced and started to download, PDF or MP3 downloads cannot be swapped or returned under any circumstances.
6. The digital PDF & MP3 download system may NOT be used by professional customers such as shops and resellers for copyright reasons.
What is allowed and what is not allowed?
By purchasing music in PDF, you have the right to:
1. Download the purchased PDF file 2 (two) times during a period of 60 days
2. Save the PDF file on your computer
3. Printing the PDF file or parts of it
Unfortunately, you are not authorised to:
1. Modify the PDF file
2. Extract text/images from the PDF file
3. Digitally extract individual parts from the PDF file
4. Forward the PDF file to third parties
Any determination of misuse will be reported to the copyright organisation in your country.
Download period and loss of files
If purchased downloads are not downloaded by the customer within the strict period of 60 (sixty) days, he cannot claim new or replacement files under any circumstances.
Bernaerts Music BV cannot be held responsible for lost files (e.g. due to poor storage or computer crash) or if no backup was made.
Copyright
The purchase of extra scores or extra parts is of course intended to replace lost copies or to purchase several copies if larger quantities are required.
Bernaerts Music BV reserves the right, if the original and complete work has never been purchased, to cancel your order and in case you have already downloaded it, to inform the copyright society of your country.
If you need several copies of extra scores for a contest, for example, this is of course perfectly possible. Again, Bernaerts Music BV reserves the right to check this.
